IPC/WHMA-A-620 Requirements and Acceptance for Cable and Wire Harness Assemblies
Certified IPC Specialist (5.0 - 30 hours depending on your needs)
The following course has 8 modules and can be taken altogether or broken up into sections, however Module 1 is mandatory.
COURSE DESCRIPTION:
The student will receive detailed training in inspection of cable and wire harness assemblies. They will be taught the Accept/Reject criteria for all three product classes in the Electronics Assembly Industry. The IPC/WHMA-A-620 is also the approved training document of the Wire Harness Manufacturers Association (WHMA).
COURSE OBJECTIVE:
Upon satisfactory completion of this course, participants will be able to make correct “Accept/Reject” decisions for the appropriate class/classes of production, based on the acceptability requirements for the IPC/WHMA-A-620.

EVALUATION: There are open book tests for Modules 1-8. A score of 70% or above is needed for certification.
